We keep a wide variety of turning stock on hand for reel seat inserts and related rod handle parts. All of the turning stock we use has been stabilized by injecting acrylic and polyester resins right through each piece of wood (unless otherwise specified). Stabilized wood is highly durable and saltwater safe. 
 
We go to great lengths to secure unique, highly figured woods for use on the rods we construct. If you have a particular request for a wood we do not have in stock, we will do our best to locate a source for use on your rod.
